Position Description

This is a quality audit position, which audits processes, fabricated and/or purchased parts against applicable drawings, bills of material, engineering documents, inspection procedures, etc. and conducts process audits as required

Key Responsibilities
  • Audits processes, fabricated and/or purchased parts against applicable drawings, bills of material, engineering documents, inspection procedures, etc. Conducts process audits as required.
  • Assist the production department in quality improvement teams.
  • Assist production by detecting issues in supply depts prior to the entire coil being built and being sent to final inspection.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Requires a high school education or equivalent.
  • Understanding of how to conduct process audits.
  • 12 to 18 months are required to achieve the job knowledge of all operations and documents pertaining to the specific job.
  • Detect visual discrepancies.
  • Detect discrepancies in various Engineering Documents, such as Engineering Deviations, Standards, etc.
  • Must be able to coordinate with production supervision.
  • Must be "team oriented"
  • Perform certified leak tests and certificate of conformance.
  • Basic office computer skills.( such as Excel, Word, SAP, etc)
