Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a School in Beverly MA

Saturday and Sunday 3 PM - 11 PM

Starting Pay is $18.72 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with professional customer service. You will complete routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an education location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and policy violations, and escalate to campus leadership and/or public services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, studios, residence areas as applicable, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Control access at designated entry points by monitoring doors, checking identification and/or visitor credentials when required, issuing visitor directions, and maintaining a professional presence.
  • Complete timely reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates to on-site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
