Bio Box Operations Supervisor

Job Summary
The Bio Box Operations Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations within the Bio Box department, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant processing of biological materials. This role leads a team of operations associates, drives workflow excellence, and ensures all activities meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Bio Box operations associates, including performance management and ongoing training.
  • Ensure daily operations-processing, packaging, documentation, and shipping-are completed accurately and in alignment with SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Oversee proper handling, labeling, and packaging of temperaturesensitive and regulated biological materials.
  • Maintain inventory of Bio Box components and supplies; initiate reorders to avoid stockouts or workflow interruptions.
  • Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, DSCSA).
  • Identify operational issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate closely with quality assurance, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve issues and support seamless endtoend operations.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and training records.
  • Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to share updates, communicate priorities, and address concerns.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety protocols and completing routine safety inspections.
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations; 1+ year in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and related operational software.
  • Strong leadership and teambuilding abilities with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $52,700 - $87,900
