Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex Roving Driver in Lincoln, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist guests and tenants with clear communication, and document activity using provided technology. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail shopping location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, corridors, entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, alarms, and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to site leadership and/or local authorities as needed, and documenting incidents per post orders.
  • Support loss prevention and mall operations by providing visible presence, offering directions and assistance to visitors, and communicating with management, retailers, and/or other onsite personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
