As a Security Officer - Part-Time Patrol Rover in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flow. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to alarms and screening needs as directed, bringing an agile, reliable, and integrity-driven approach grounded in teamwork and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a logistics and distribution location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Support access control operations by monitoring entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and drivers, confirming authorization, and directing traffic flow at gates and dock areas as assigned.
  • Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, and communicate security-related concerns during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
