Security Officer - Day Patrol Rounds

As a Security Officer - Day Patrol Rounds in Hebron, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and support access control and visitor guidance with strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in reports and/or activity logs.
• Use site communication systems and security-related technology as assigned, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency services when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
