As a Security Officer - Commercial Site - Full Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control activity. You will also assist tenants and visitors with courteous customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting, while working with teammates to uphold integrity and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related policies at a commercial property.
• Conduct routine and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by verifying authorization, issuing directions, and documenting entries and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate notifications to property management and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift handoffs, and communicate observations and recommendations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
