Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 15+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 13 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As the Senior Distinguised Member of our technical staff, you'll apply advanced principles of engineering and management to solve complex problems in the development of technology. As a leader, you'll oversee and manage design and development processes as they relate to the engineering of products utilizing principles and technology of physics, mathematics, engineering, and related physical sciences. What you bring to the table:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and building large-scale, distributed software systems.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with modern programming languages such as Python.
  • Significant experience in system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Recognized as an expert in your field
  • Ability to ability to anticipate technology, process, and skill needs
What sets you apart:
  • A true passion for innovation and a track record of using technology to solve complex problems in novel ways.
  • Deep understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and a passion for building highly available and performant systems.
  • Experience with AI/ML concepts and/or direct experience with AI-assisted development tools.
  • Expertise in DevOps/MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience migrating complex, legacy enterprise systems to modern architectures.
  • Exceptional ability to mentor and inspire other engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate technical and organizational ambiguity.


Target salary range: USD $219,876.00/Yr. - USD $243,925.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
