Responsible for the overall management of administrative, support and clinical operations for Imaging departments and/or Radiation Oncology.
Position Responsibilities:
* Manages staff to include completing performance appraisals, departmental goal setting, recruiting, orienting, coaching, counseling, and following through on action plans.
* Supports individual and departmental achievement through the use of recognition methods. Encourage and engage staff to ensure high levels of employee and patient satisfaction.
* Actively oversee and be actively involved in maintaining regulatory requirements.
* Oversees the quality improvement activities of the department to ensure the highest clinical quality and safety. Oversees successful NJDEP Quality Assurance Program to include adherence with FDA/MQSA and ACR requirements.
* Understands financial statements; develops and operates within budgetary guidelines. Able to justify variances and consistently identifies cost saving measures.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as Radiology Technician and at least 2-3 years of Supervisory/Managerial experience.
Must have strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and writing skills.
PC experience to include Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
Required Education:
Certificate of completion/degree from an Accredited Radiology Program.
Baccalaureate Degree in Radiology Sciences or Business Administration a plus.
Training/Certifications/Licensure:
Completion of minimum number of CE for continued certification/accreditation.
ARRT and NJDEPE license required.
CPR certification required.
Annual Salary: $104,613 - $167,938 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Virtua's annual incentive compensation plan (AICP). The amount is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan document.
