Job Description

WGL - HR Advisor

This role is ideal for an experienced HR Generalist who thrives in employee relations and advisory work and is looking to step into a more business-facing role. You will act as a trusted partner to manager-level leaders, while also supporting senior HR Business Partners on more complex, strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong foundation in employee relations and HR advisory work

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with managers on performance, conduct, and employee matters independently

  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, complex environment, ideally within a regulated or multi-entity organization

  • Strong judgment and confidence navigating sensitive employee situations

  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with broader business context and priorities

  • Interest in growing toward a more strategic HRBP capability over time

What You'll Bring
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong foundation in employee relations, performance management, and HR advisory

  • Proven ability to partner directly with managers to navigate employee matters, including performance, conduct, and day-to-day HR decision-making

  • Strong judgment and confidence managing sensitive situations, balancing employee experience with business needs

  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, complex, or regulated environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to translate HR policies and frameworks into practical, business-relevant guidance

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing, time-sensitive priorities

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence to support broader HR initiatives

  • Interest and capability to grow into more strategic HR partnership work over time

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,400 - $138,075 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
