Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Job Opportunity: Deputy Program Manager - Engineering (BICES Program)
Join General Dynamics Mission Systems to lead innovation and support the Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System (BICES) program-an essential multinational, secure information-sharing network that strengthens NATO and partner nations' collaboration in safeguarding global security.

What You'll Experience:

  • Lead technical teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in hardware, software, and networking.
  • Communicate regularly with senior leaders and government officials to ensure program success.
  • Oversee strategic projects, ensuring technical milestones are met on time.
  • Participate in managing change processes through Configuration and Control Board activities.
  • Build strong relationships with program teams and government staff.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Expertise in Red Hat Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Familiarity with Scrum or SAFe methodologies (SAFe certification preferred).
  • Strong grasp of Raise the Bar (RTB) Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills, including system security experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
