As an Armed Patrol Officer at a high-end retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming shopping experience through strong communication and customer service. You will observe, document, and report activity while collaborating with store teams and local partners. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stock rooms, exterior approaches, and the perimeter, as assigned by post orders.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential theft, and/or policy violations, and communicate concerns to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Control access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry for employees and vendors, and assist with opening and closing routines as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have 1+ years of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
