Responsibilities

Objective

We are seeking a BU Reporting & CapEx Analyst with high energy and drive to join our Howmet Engines Finance team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead consolidation of Engines capital expenditures reporting, collaborating with all locations within the business unit to ensure accurate and timely submission

  • Analyze forecasted & actual capital spend and serve as the business unit CapEx SPA

  • Support Business Unit with consolidated reporting activites, developing ad-hoc reporting and optimizing existing reporting

  • Lead process improvement projects to achieve world-class performance across Engines operations

  • Financial analysis and process development for special projects, as required

  • Assist with Peer Review and Balance Sheet Review activity across Howmet Engines, as required

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Previous internship experience in finance and/or accounting

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working for a manufacturing company
  • Accounting education, MBA, CMA and / or CPA preferred
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Ability to communicate clearly & concisely in both written and oral form
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Experience with MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills
