As a Mining Laborer, you'll play a vital hands-on role in supporting daily mining operations through physical labor and teamwork. Core responsibilities include fueling pad crew equipment and ensuring the site-wide water system is operational to support drilling activities and water truck resupply. This role is ideal for someone dependable, safety-focused, and ready to contribute to a high-performing crew in a dynamic work environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks on the labor crew that support operations through culvert installation, equipment cleaning, and general yard and site maintenance

  • Perform general laborer duties including shoveling, raking, debris removal and maintaining access routes

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other team members

  • Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

  • Actively participate in toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and follow all site safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous mining experience is preferred however, not necessary

  • demonstrates an awareness and understanding of mining safety.

  • Enthusiastic and communicative, with a positive attitude and strong desire to learn and grow within the role

  • Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred

  • Ability to a pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Work Conditions:

  • 5 days on with 4 days off, working 12 hour days that has the potential to alternate between a day and night shift rotation

  • Overtime rates apply after 40 hours per week and are paid at time and a half

  • Living out allowance provided for those who qualify

  • Work will be primarily outdoors and in various weather conditions
