Security Officer - Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Cairo, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents, and support operations through clear communication and professional customer service. You will document observations, respond to security-related concerns, and collaborate with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points; monitor for suspicious activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
• Control access at entrances, gates, and delivery areas by verifying identification, assisting with driver check-in and/or check-out, and maintaining visitor, truck, and contractor logs per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate updates to site contacts, Allied Universal supervision, and/or public responders when needed.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of patrols, incidents, and policy violations; support loss prevention efforts by observing shipping and receiving activity and reporting irregularities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
