Job Summary


The Accounting and Reporting Specialist is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in alignment with global frameworks and local regulatory requirements. This role supports financial controlling activities by maintaining high-quality accounting standards, strengthening internal controls, and providing reliable financial data to support business steering, decision-making, and long-term profitable growth. The position collaborates across group and country organizations to harmonize processes, support compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within financial operations.

Job Responsibilities




  • Prepare, review, and submit financial reports in compliance with global frameworks, local GAAP, and applicable regulations.



  • Maintain high-quality accounting and reporting standards to support business steering and compliance.



  • Perform reconciliations, analytical reviews, and variance analyses to ensure financial accuracy.



  • Prepare, post, and reconcile journal entries, including accruals, intercompany transactions, cost and revenue allocations, and treasury-related adjustments.



  • Ensure all relevant financial data is processed accurately and in a timely manner.



  • Maintain and strengthen effective internal controls and compliance frameworks.



  • Identify reporting quality issues and coordinate remediation efforts with relevant stakeholders.



  • Support internal and external audits, annual filings, and other regulatory compliance activities.



  • Collaborate with group and country teams to align with global financial frameworks while addressing local compliance needs.



  • Participate in projects to simplify, harmonize, and automate financial operations and reporting processes.



  • Maintain cross-functional collaboration with business owners, core areas, and process teams.



  • Contribute to a safe and compliant working environment in accordance with established policies.




Job Requirements




  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements, including IFRS and local GAAP.



  • Strong understanding of financial controlling, internal controls, and risk assessment.



  • Experience performing reconciliations, journal entries, and analytical financial reviews.



  • Knowledge of governance, regulatory obligations, and audit processes.



  • Ability to assess, analyze, and mitigate financial and operational risks.



  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.



  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.



  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.




Education




  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.



  • Master's degree preferred.




Work Experience




  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible accounting and/or auditing experience in a similar or larger organization.
