As Technical Manager - Sustainability Projects, you will be responsible for managing projects within sustainability department with major focus on development and implementation of creative ideas and concepts for industrial water and wastewater treatment, water quality monitoring, collection, and analysis of actual semiconductor plants data, serving Ovivo customers.

The role is based in United States (Portland, OR and/or Plano, TX) and will require domestic travel to oversee domestic projects in the US, and some international travelling as necessary.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for managing sustainability projects from the idea to successful implementation and market launch
  • Leading implementation of creative ideas, concepts and strategies of water consumption reduction, reuse and recycling for the semiconductor industry
  • Development of new digital tools essential for defining complete water management strategies for high complexity systems
  • Serving customers throughout sustainability projects lifetime
  • Analysis of water and wastewater qualities
  • Design, piloting and evaluation of water and wastewater treatment processes
  • Implementation and testing of prototypes and pilot plants
  • Literature and web research
  • Creating and contributing to future know-how of the company
  • Writing technical documentation and reports

Position Details

  • The role is remote, but the preferred location is Portland, OR or Plano, TX.
  • 50% overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in science, preferably in Chemical / Process / Industrial Engineering
  • 3+ years of professional engineering experience, preferably in water or wastewater treatment
  • A good understanding of economics and sustainability context
  • You show self-initiative and creativity, you are flexible and able to work under pressure
  • You have a good team-oriented working attitude with excellent communication skills to work in close co-operation with our other internal international departments, suppliers and customers.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $90,000-$130,000. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
