We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Product Manager to join our Innovation Team. This role is located in New York, NY (4 days in office per week). In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: * Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for AI-driven process transformation initiatives, from ideation through scaled adoption. * Identify high-value opportunities where AI, automation, and agentic workflows can eliminate manual work, streamline decisioning, and improve operational outcomes. * Lead the design, build, and evolution of AI-enabled and agentic solutions, including intelligent automation, copilots, and orchestration across complex workflows. * Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, explainable, and production-ready. * Drive prioritization and delivery across multiple teams, removing blockers and ensuring continuous flow of value. * Ensure responsible AI adoption, with accountability for risks related to data privacy, model performance, bias, explainability, and operational resilience. * Measure and communicate impact through clear outcomes and metrics, including productivity gains, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and client or user experience improvements. * Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement, role modeling modern product management and AI-first thinking. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: * Bachelors degree in STEM or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. * Advanced degree preferred * ~10 years of related experience preferred. * Experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred. * Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Lead driving complex, cross-functional initiatives, preferably in large, regulated organizations. * Demonstrated experience building and scaling AI-driven products or solutions, with hands-on exposure to AI-enabled or agentic workflows in production. * Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including LLMs, intelligent automation, agentic architectures, and AI lifecycle management. * Ability to translate complex ambiguous ideas into clear product strategies and executable roadmaps. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. | |
