Security Officer - Roving Patrol

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol in Lincoln, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel while delivering a customer-focused experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client and/or visitors by following security-related procedures, location policies, and post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying authorization, directing deliveries to designated areas, and documenting entries, exits, and unusual conditions per location requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and requesting additional assistance when needed.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate shift activity during handoff, and report maintenance hazards and/or operational concerns through the proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
