Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Music Hall in Boston MA

Monday, Tuesday 11 PM - 7 AM, Thursday 3 PM - 11 PM and Saturday, Sunday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $21.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, and support guests, staff, and performers with clear communication and outstanding customer service. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and teamwork. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural performance location.
  • Conduct access control and visitor screening as required, including verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and documenting entries and/or deliveries per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services, and completing required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, seating areas, backstage corridors, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and communication channels when assigned, and coordinate with venue staff to support orderly guest movement during high-volume arrivals, intermissions, and departures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
