Project Manager III

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a 3+ month contract position. This is a hybrid role (2-3 days onsite per week) located in Atlanta, GA.

Compensation: $65 - $70 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level.

Summary:

This position is with a Global Agricultural and Food Corporation, seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong, traditional planning skills to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between project management, planning teams, and line management, applying a Waterfall methodology to drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and handle the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as a liaison among project management and planning, project team, and line management
• Review the project proposal to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing the project
• Organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and resolve resource requirements
• Monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
• Adhere to internal and external quality standards
• Identify and resolve obstacles to completing projects on time and to budget
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Four years of related work experience as a Project Manager
• Experience with Waterfall project management methodology
• Very strong planning skills
