Job Summary

The Internal Communications Channel Manager serves as the central coordination and project management point for the Internal Communications team, overseeing intake, prioritization, and production of internal communications requests. This role ensures smooth workflow across channels, effective cross-functional coordination, and reliable management of communications processes and systems so the team can operate efficiently and effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Provide communication support including reviewing and assessing intake requests, selecting communication channels, assigning tasks, and setting initial production deadlines
  • Work collaboratively with multiple teams to capture detailed information for communication requests and associated work tasks
  • Use project management software to assign and manage task assignments
  • Consult and share feedback quickly to ensure stakeholders have all the information, updates, and deadlines they need to partner with the Internal Communications team
  • Collaborate with the Director of Internal Communications to understand and apply communication channel strategy
  • Develop and manage fulfillment processes for communication collateral
  • Monitor current processes and suggest improvements to create more efficiency
  • Document intake and production processes
  • Serve as technical lead for internal communications systems
  • Oversee technical aspects of publishing through our internal communication channels
  • Other duties as assigned

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Travel Requirements: Less than 25%

Education

Minimum:



  • 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or related field, OR three additional combined years experience in a marketing or communications setting



Experience

Minimum Years of Experience:



  • 1 year of experience in marketing, communication, sales, or a related field.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Ability to communicate in a variety of settings and styles
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Takes initiative to provide support and be a problem solver
  • Experience with project management practices and software
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.



Working Conditions and Physical Requirements



  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Punctual and reliable attendance.
