What you'll own as the Data Scientist
  • Analyze and extract insights from internal and external data.
  • Employ machine learning and statistical modeling to create and enhance data-driven products.
  • Work with Big Data and transform complex datasets into more usable formats.
  • Utilize a variety of data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Work independently and collaborate with other groups to solve complex problems.
  • Create and present analyses to internal and external partners and clients.
  • Document models and write code to track and monitor models and product performance.
  • Make pragmatic and business-aware choices when trading off sophistication and accuracy versus implementation and performance costs.
  • Participate in project planning sessions, analyze requirements, and provide design recommendations for complex analytical systems.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
What you'll bring
  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Decision Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Knowledge in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modeling, data visualization, and data analysis.
  • Proficient in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience or knowledge of cloud-based technology.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and solve complex problems.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
  • Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsiveness to internal and external clients and contacts.

Worldpay is dedicated to offering individuals rewarding career opportunities and competitive compensation. For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $101,100.00-$152,550.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role's responsibilities, level, and geographic location. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate's experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Please note that changes in work location may impact the final offered salary. We encourage you to consult with your recruiter to confirm the budget for your location and to better understand the applicable pay scale.
