Job Description

TheBanking Directorwill serve as the primary strategic partner for our largest US banking clients. This leader will translate market needs and client priorities into product capabilities for our SaaSbased core banking platform.

The role combinesdeep US banking domain expertise,experience with global corebanking platforms, strong product management acumen, and hightouch client engagement to drive adoption, satisfaction, and long-term growth.

You will serve as the voice of US clients within the organization while guiding clients on best practices and future roadmap alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Strategic Advisory:

  • Act as executive-level liaison from the product group for Tier 1 US banking clients.
  • Lead strategic discussions on core banking modernization, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular executive business reviews, roadmap sessions, and product deep-dives with the team of product specialists and product managers.
  • Provide thought leadership to guide clients on bestfit product usage, architecture decisions, and process modernization.

Product Strategy & Market Alignment:

  • Own the US market requirements for the core banking product suite.
  • Translate client feedback, business and regulatory drivers into actionable product features, stories, and roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and SRE teams to ensure delivery aligns with US market expectations.
  • Monitor US banking industry and technology trends, and regulatory changes to inform product innovation and evolution.
  • Track and interpret trends acrossglobal core-banking platformsto identify differentiation opportunities.

Technical & Business Solutioning:

  • Lead solution design workshops to align business requirements with product capabilities.
  • Support complex integrations, migration planning, and endtoend banking workflows (e.g., deposit operations, ledger, lending, payments).
  • Work with technical architects on scoping, feasibility, and solution validation.
  • Guide clients transitioning from legacy or traditional corebanking platforms to modern cloudnative stacks.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams during presales and renewal cycles.
  • Support implementation teams in large-scale onboarding and transformation initiatives.
  • Drive internal education on US banking regulations, processes, and client expectations.

Regulatory & Compliance Insight:

  • Keep internal teams informed on relevant US regulatory bodies and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure product features and client implementations align with US compliance frameworks (FDIC, OCC, CFPB, FRB).

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • 12+ years' experiencein US traditional core banking, or SaaS based corebanking platforms.
  • Deep understanding of US retail and commercial banking products, processes, payments, ledger, deposit and lending operations.
  • Proven experience engaging with senior banking executives and managing client relationships.
  • Strong product management capability: feature definition, prioritization, roadmap planning, and cross-team delivery.
  • Background in enterprise client management and solution consulting.
  • Ability to bridge business and technical teams with clear communication and structured thinking.
  • Experience working with cloud-based, API-driven banking platforms or SaaS/core systems would be highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working with or alongside major global corebanking platforms such as Temenos (T24), Oracle FLEXCUBE, FIS, Fiserv, Mambu, Thought Machine, or equivalent.
  • MBA, Master's in Finance, or Masters in a technology-related degree.
  • Prior management and team leadership experience.
  • Be based in the US
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 186,800.00 to 299,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
