We are looking for a Plunger Lift - Mechanical Engineer II located in Crowley, TX. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.

The Engineer will oversee and support the design and manufacturing of the Plunger Lift product line at our Crowley manufacturing facility, and is responsible for designing, developing and testing mechanical systems and products.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee and support the design and manufacturing of the Plunger Lift product line.

  • Apply advanced knowledge of technical engineering principles and practices in the identification and understanding of client requirements to manage the development of technical specifications and implement designs.

  • Manage project controls and risk, ensuring projects are executed within established budget.

  • Identify issues, problems, and opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Advise leaders regarding the identification and resolution of complex problems.

  • Oversee the review and validation of product requirements to determine feasibility of design constraints.

  • Oversee the identification, evaluation, and development of engineering tools and processes necessary to meet a project's engineering and business goals.

  • Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments, maintaining a focus on safety, quality and reliability

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate ERP master data, Items, Bill of material (BOM) and routings.

  • Oversee tolerance analysis on complex assemblies.

  • Have hands-on involvement with product development and manufacturing of plunger lift & gas lift artificial lift systems.

  • Have a high degree of involvement with other engineers, as well as field and manufacturing personnel.

  • Conduct failure analysis of products

  • Identify current workforce strengths and gaps and communicate this information to the director of operations and HR; suggest ways to address training and hiring needs.

  • Know and enforce compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

  • Coach and mentor one or two levels of direct reports; assign work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assess performance and provide feedback to direct reports.

  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree from an accredited program in Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience.

  • 4 years of experience as a mechanical or manufacturing engineer.

  • Experience with the designing of products for manufacturing machining and assembly.

  • Proficient with and oversight of creating and maintaining ERP master data

  • Proficient with and oversight of drafting procedures, GD&T, parametric 3D modeling, 2D drafting

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point

  • Proficient with a parametric 3D modeling software (Solid Works, Ineventor, Creo)

  • Proficient with an engineering data management software.

  • Ability to properly plan for the long-term development of products

  • Ability to listen to input and accept or reject ideas diplomatically will be a daily occurrence

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent math skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills,

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within oil & gas Industry

  • Oracle ERP system experience

  • Autodesk Inventor & Vault experience
