Key Responsibilities



  • As a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in our program, the candidate will conduct research on viral infections, with a focus on mechanisms of viral entry and membrane fusion mediated by coronaviruses, mumps virus, and measles virus.
  • The candidate will evaluate the antiviral activity, mechanisms of action, and structural determinants of peptides, small molecules, and antibodies.
  • The candidate must have extensive training in molecular biology, biochemistry, and cryo-electron microscopy methods. The position involves close collaboration with investigators at Columbia University, Cornell University, and the City University of New York (CUNY).


  • Must have a doctorate degree (M.D. or Ph.D.)
  • Consistently strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with professionals in other disciplines.
