Summary

The Content Design Production team is seeking a Brand & Design Guidelines Writer to create and maintain internal and external-facing Production Design Guidelines that support content creation across multiple media types, including music, podcasts, books, and TV. This role helps establish a consistent brand voice and clear design language that empowers partners to create high-quality, on-brand content.

Job Description

In this role, you will establish and evolve brand voice and strategic direction for Production Design Guidelines across multiple content formats. You will create, edit, and maintain design documentation and instructional materials that support both internal teams and external partners.

You'll partner with design leads, program managers, and cross-functional creative teams to develop and maintain a shared language for production design. This includes writing and editing design documentation, synthesizing diverse inputs into clear briefs and action items, crafting instructional scripts for video content, and developing internal and external web resources.

You will also continuously improve how technical information is communicated through brand voice, ensuring clarity for audiences ranging from beginners to seasoned professionals. This includes maintaining detailed documentation, identifying inconsistencies, refining messaging through iteration, and delivering polished, compelling content that aligns with the broader brand strategy.

Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Background in brand strategy, content design, instructional writing, or creative communications
  • Experience developing brand guidelines, instructional content, or design systems documentation preferred


Additional Requirements

This opportunity is remote but requires candidates to be local to CUP, CUL, SEA, or NYC. If located in NYC, PST working hours are required

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $71.00 per hour

This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked
