Production Associate Manager, Energy

As aManager, you will be playing a critical role on the Gigafactory Production Team. You will lead a dynamic team of Supervisors, managing operations and metrics in critical areas of the Manufacturing floor. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with our manufacturing and operations teams, interfacing with Engineering, NPI, and Material Flow, to ensure production goals are being met.

• Build a strong, motivated production team capable of consistently delivering high quality products against aggressive productiontargets
• Maintain a culture that prioritizes safety and quality through communication, action, and accountability Empower the production team to collaborate with engineering to improve product manufacturability and lineproductivity
• Ensure production teams receive effective training and workforcedevelopment
• Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & an environment of continuous learning andimprovement
• Develop supervisory team for individual professionaldevelopment
• Ensure production teamsutilizestandardized work and consistent work practices across shifts andareas
• Tesla people leadersare responsible fora variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations

• 5+ year experience managing teams of people in high volume manufacturingsetting
• Degree in Business or Technical discipline, evidence of exceptional experience, or equivalent
• Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs)
• Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tightdeadlines
• Ability to command the English language, both written and verbal
• Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Fluent with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Employee Benefits

• Supervisor Manufacturing - $86,400 - $129,600/annual salary
• Associate Mgr Manufacturing - $100,800 - $151,200/annual salary

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
