Milwaukee, WI (Near Mill & Teutonia) 1st shift: 7am-3pm 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm 3rd shift: 11pm-7am, Sunday-Thursday $17 p/hr Verify machines have a signed sample & current parts being formed match sample. * Learning sets up on assigned machine(s) placing the tooling as required per job specifications. * Uses tools including heat guns and sonic gauges to determine adjustments to time and temperatures on the control panel to maximize production efficiency, striving to meet established forming standards for set-up and production under general supervision. * Learning to identify defects by comparing to mold for fit/form and troubleshooting to eliminate any blemishes, gloss level issues, chill marks, warping or other material defects. * Packages parts and labels gaylords properly. * Sets up and uses band saw to cut up trim scrap to an acceptable size for recycling. * Counts parts accurately. Fills out Daily Management Boards properly. * Ensures all paperwork is complete, accurate, and turned in at end of shift. * Ensures information is entered accurately. * Ensures machine is clean and organized. Makes sure all 5S tools are in place and accounted for. * Makes sure clear turnover is given to oncoming operator. * Follows all safety procedures to create a safe work environment for all personnel. * Abides by 5S and Lean Manufacturing (OPEX) initiatives in the Forming department. * Other tasks as assigned by management. | |
