Position Title: Quality Control Technician

Wage: $22.00 - $25.00/Hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday - Friday OT at end of shift as needed.

Be the final gatekeeper of quality. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you'll perform in-process and final inspections, conduct first part checks, support ISO 9001 compliance, and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.

If you're experienced in dimensional analysis, GD&T, blueprint reading, and CMM equipment-and bring a strong work ethic with a team-first mindset-this is your opportunity to make a direct impact on product excellence.

Quality Control Technician Responsibilities:

- Responsible for in-process and final inspection of parts to industry standards and customer specifications

- Works with team members on executing first part inspections before welding

- Works with team members to correct dimensional errors

- Completes nonconforming output reports and logs

- Issues and documents RMAs (Returned Merchandise Authorization)

- Regularly communicates and follows up with both internal and external customers

- Participates in calls and meetings with customers to help problem solve and fix quality issues

- Compiles various ISO 9001 metrics that are recorded in the QC department and submitted to upper management

- Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements For Quality Control Technician:

- 3 to 5 years quality assurance inspection experience preferred

- Working knowledge of computers and various software systems and quality control paperwork

- ISO 9001 experience

- ISO 9001 internal audit training preferred

- Ability to conduct dimensional analysis

- Ability to read engineering prints

- Understanding of GD&T

- Work experience with Romer/Faro arm or other CMM preferred

- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing

- ISIR/PPAP/First Article inspection experience preferred

- Experience with calibration of measuring equipment

- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic

- Ability to work independently and meet productivity levels

- Must be self-motivated and have a 'can-do' attitude

- Must be a team player and willing to help in other roles and departments

- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations

- Work is in a manufacturing environment on the production floor

- Ability to stand and work for long periods of time

- Moderate physical effort is required throughout the day

- Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneel

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
