WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As our Investment Services Intern, you will provide client support and administrative assistance by helping financial advisors prepare and organize client documentation, including account opening forms, Know Your Customer (KYC) materials, and compliance disclosures. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating client records in CRM systems and internal databases, preparing meeting materials such as account summaries, investment reports, and presentation decks, and organizing client correspondence in accordance with compliance standards. You will also manage scheduling and coordination by arranging client appointments, follow-ups, and internal meetings, sending confirmations, preparing agendas or meeting summaries, and coordinating logistics for client calls, virtual meetings, and in-person reviews. And, as part of the internship, you'll get to complete at least one key project to enhance your learning experience and highlight your resume.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Availability to work 40 hours/week throughout the duration of the internship (10 weeks, from June 1 - August 7, 2026). The schedule will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm and this position will be based out of our Bloomington Branch location.

In addition, we're looking for:

  • Third- or fourth-year college student in active pursuit of a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related, and a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above.
  • Availability to work full-time throughout the duration of the internship (10 weeks, from June 1 - August 7, 2026).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, client databases (e.g., CRM systems), and document management tools.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to interact with financial advisors, team members, and potentially clients, with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with financial markets or investment products is a plus.
  • Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
  • Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

  • CRM & Data Management: Use client relationship management (CRM) tools to input, track, and manage client data (e.g., Salesforce, Redtail, or proprietary systems).Develop skills in maintaining accurate, compliant records and analyzing client pipelines.
  • Operational Processes & Compliance: Learn about KYC (Know Your Customer), onboarding processes, account documentation, and regulatory requirements.
