ReNuke is seeking a Project Controls Cost Analyst to support project financial management, invoicing, and cost forecasting across active programs.
This role is ideal for an experienced project controls professional seeking flexible, part-time work in a high-accountability environment.
The Project Controls Cost Analyst provides financial oversight and cost control support to Project Managers and Program leadership. This role focuses on project financial performance, invoicing accuracy, forecasting, and reporting to ensure successful project execution and compliance with contractual requirements.
Scheduling is not a primary responsibility for this position.

Key Responsibilities
Project Cost Management
*Support development and maintenance of project budgets and cost baselines
*Monitor project financial performance against approved budgets
*Track commitments, accruals, and expenditures across multiple projects
*Assist in preparing and reviewing Estimate at Completion (EAC) and cost forecasts
*Identify cost risks, variances, and corrective actions
*
Invoicing & Revenue Support (Primary Focus)
*Prepare and review client invoices for accuracy and contract compliance
*Validate labor, expense, and subcontractor charges prior to billing
*Support monthly billing cycles and coordinate with accounting teams
*Track unbilled costs and accounts receivable status
*Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and client inquiries

Financial Reporting & Forecasting
*Support monthly and quarterly project financial reviews
*Maintain project financial reports and dashboards
*Provide cost performance analysis and variance reporting
*Support revenue recognition and financial close activities

Contract & Compliance Support
*Ensure billing and cost tracking aligns with contract terms
*Support audit readiness and documentation requirements
*Assist with proposal cost data and financial inputs when needed
