About This Role:

The Enterprise Solution Architect- Sales Engineer consults with clients to develop technical solutions based on their requirements, business & technical objectives and success criteria. They will collaborate and consult with clients to understand solution requirements and project expectations, develop options and a recommended design and approach based on the FNTS solution catalog. Additionally, the Enterprise Solutions Architect- Sales Engineer will finalize the design and work with the extended team to build the pricing model for the solution. Working with the Sales team, the Brand leadership team,and FNTS Service Delivery, the Solution Architect will provide guidance to the firm regarding competitive positioning, market direction and lead positioning new product and/or architecture deployment capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical solutions based on customer requirements and needs by leveraging the FNTS product offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, FNTS architecture and service delivery team, and project management teams and with vendors to create solutions for customers.
  • Provide leadership to the organization leading to improvement of the current product offerings and new product and service development.
  • Considering the artistry of the opportunity, present technical solution options and consult with the client on recommendations.
  • Consult with sales executives and brand leadership to develop strategies and plans for key accounts.
  • Create document & analyze market and competitive data, pricing, value proposition, and TCO/ROI analysis.
  • Understand the client technical organization and identify key contacts within strategic accounts and develop and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to learn and become a subject matter expert on assigned FNTS products, FNTS solutions, partner products and partner solutions.
  • Provides expertise & consultation to lead client facing engagements.
  • Create quality deliverables to ensure the proposed solution or design is accurate and compelling.
  • Supports client due diligence and scoping activities.
  • Completes sales certification and accreditations for major partners and resellers.
  • Review proposals w/ sales and brand team to ensure they meet the customer requirements.
  • Participate in tradeshows, seminars, customer and partner events as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • College degree (Associate's-level or higher) required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of design, development, or maintenance of IT systems required.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills in word, excel, PowerPoint. Including experience with Visio / Lucid Charts and CRM systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills in working with customers.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience of architect and/or sales engineer experience required.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills preferred.
  • Deep technical expertise for one or more of the disciplines within the FNTS sales and service catalog.
  • High-level understanding of cloud, IaaS, PaaS, network design, systems design, hardware and software specifications, network connectivity
  • Ability to lead customer meetings, design sessions, and present solution design concepts.
  • Experience / Knowledge of Managed Services, Cloud Services, Digital Transformation, Mainframe, and IBM Power Systems.
  • Possesses industry knowledge and familiarity with the competitive landscape Collaboration / Communication

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a technical discipline preferred.
  • IBM Mainframe and Power Systems Experience preferred.
  • Cloud expertise to consult, design, recommend multi cloud and hybrid cloud deployments.
  • Red Hat Skills and container service skills preferred.
  • Detailed understanding of products offered by FNTS preferred.
  • Readiness to travel a minimum of 25% for client meetings
  • English language fluency
  • Demonstrated consistency in employment
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $107,552.00-$182,838.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work remotely, offering you the freedom to contribute to our mission from wherever you work best, without compromising on career growth or connection to our team. Regardless of your location, you'll be fully integrated into our team through robust digital collaboration tools and regular communication. The incumbent can work remotely from any of the states listed on the job posting, though occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings. Please note, work location is subject to change based on business needs.
