Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position |
Facilitate engaging
STEM learning activities using the Verizon Innovative Learning curriculum, including design thinking, augmented reality, 3D printing, coding, and other next-generation technologies.
Serve as a mentor and positive role model to students, encouraging exploration, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Guide students through project-based learning modules and support group work.
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that supports equitable participation for all students.
Collaborate with the program director, site staff, and other instructors to ensure smooth program delivery.
Support classroom management and student engagement during in-camp activities.
Assist with preparation and organization of instructional materials and technology resources.
Participate in pre-program training and meetings as required.
Provide feedback on student progress and help document attendance and participation. |
| Primary Function of Organizational Unit |
The primary function of the Graduate College at North Carolina A&T State University is to provide high-quality graduate education and support the advancement of graduate students through academic programs and research opportunities. It oversees and facilitates graduate degree offerings (including master's, doctoral, and certificate programs), integrates rigorous coursework with real-world applications and research, and helps ensure students have the resources they need to succeed in their fields. |
