Your Job The Sr Director IT - Finance is a key IT leadership role in support of the corporate, business finance, accounting, tax and treasury capabilities for Georgia Pacific. The role is expected to provide strategic thought leadership and technology partnership while providing oversight on delivery/support of the current and future technology solutions. The right leader will come with strong domain knowledge/expertise with demonstrated technology acumen and can be a strategic leader, partner with effective influence on advancing, delivering business outcomes. Our Team As a key member of the IT team, you will build strong partnerships with business stakeholders and define challenges, identify opportunities, and lead collaborative efforts to influence, design and implement improvements across people, process, data and technology solutions. These solutions will enhance and optimize business systems while advancing GP's strategic objectives and overall business performance. Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our GP Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. It requires at least 3 days in office per week. This role is not open to VISA Sponsorship or potential VISA Transfer now or in the future. If you are currently a VISA holder including EAD, this role is not open to support. What You Will Do * Develop Talent & Advance Application of Principle-Based Management (PBM)
* Partnership: Be a partner for the GP corporate, segment finance leaders/teams and coordinate across other segments and GP IT capabilities to optimize and accelerate value for GP
* Leadership: Strategic technology partnership and leadership
* Solution Delivery & Sustain: Maintain/Delivering and Sustaining ongoing value to run the business across critical finance technology solutions (segment R2R platforms and corporate accounting, tax, and treasury platforms)
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Proven experience in finance process, strategy and leadership with demonstrated technology acumen * Experience in leadership with an ability and desire to manage teams leading a large (direct and indirect) organization * Proven experience solving complex and critical problems with an ability to make informed decisions while evaluating alternatives and trade-offs to create the highest long-term value * Experience engaging and influencing effectively with a range of business and technology stakeholders * Experience identifying opportunities to partner and advance value through innovative and profitable IT solutions * Willing and able to travel when needed, up to 15% * Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship What Will Put You Ahead * Bachelor's degree in business or related field * Experience leading large-scale Finance transformations including migration of key capabilities like GL, AR, and AP * Experience in financial planning and analysis related to technology and total cost of ownership modeling * Experience with designing, developing, and implementing technology in a manufacturing environment At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
