Reinsurance is, in essence, insurance for insurance companies. Our clients are primarily insurance companies, and we serve as their advocate in matters involving reinsurance claims. The insurance policies that individuals and businesses purchase, such as auto, homeowners, or health insurance, are often reinsured by those insurers, so the work you do will support the security and stability of coverage that people rely on every day. As a Reinsurance Claims Advocate Intern, you will develop an understanding of how to effectively manage our clients' relationships with their reinsurers.

What the Day Will Look Like?

In this role, Claim Advocates support their clients by:
* Processing reinsurance claims notices and status updates
* Assisting with billing and collecting funds owed to clients
* Responding to inquiries from clients and reinsurers regarding insurance losses and reinsurance treaties

As an intern, you will primarily work on project-based assignments designed to:
* Deepen your understanding of reinsurance and its role within the broader insurance marketplace
* Enhance your familiarity with the claims systems and tools used to manage client engagement

This is a 10-week paid program across various U.S. offices with access to leaders through weekly learning sessions and a chance to interact with colleagues globally. You will engage in challenging client projects with the benefit of continuous formal and informal feedback and the enjoyment of social outings and community service activities throughout your internship!

Qualifications:

Rising seniors graduating between December 2026 - June 2027 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $21.00 - $24.50 hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

Aon offers a benefits package for temporary and seasonal employees who will work 20 or more hours per week including: medical, dental, and vision insurance at the employee's expense, critical illness insurance, 10 Company holidays per calendar year (paid, if eligible), paid sick leave as provided under state and local law, and a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions. Eligibility for benefits are governed by the applicable plan documents and policies.
