Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is accepting applications for a Procurement Coordinator. The Procurement Coordinator will coordinate and provide assistance with various procurement activities related to the purchase of equipment, materials, services, supplies, formal bid process, and travel for UA-PTC.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: *Coordinate and support procurement activities for goods, services, contracts, bids, and travel in compliance with state law, UA System policies, and campus procedures. *Review contracts, agreements, and MOUs to ensure alignment with approved scopes of work, pricing, deliverables, funding sources, and procurement requirements. *Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready contract and procurement files in accordance with records-retention requirements. *Organize and track campus contracts, renewals, and cooperative agreements to support efficiency and cost savings. *Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors regarding procurement processes, contract documentation, compliance requirements, and issue resolution. *Coordinate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, grants, and departments) to facilitate timely purchasing actions and contract execution. *Monitor vendor compliance, including insurance certificates, W-9s, licenses, and required documentation. *Assist with competitive bid processes, including drafting specifications, preparing bid documents, coordinating evaluations, and supporting award recommendations. *Provide technical assistance, guidance, and informal training to campus departments on procurement procedures, purchasing thresholds, and documentation standards. *Perform data entry, maintain procurement systems, and assist with vendor setup, quotes, travel documentation, and related requests. *Assist in maintaining and updating procurement procedures, desk manuals, and training materials. *Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned to support departmental and institutional operations. *Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
