Job Purpose and Overview In close partnership with the Supply Planning Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the necessary ingredients, packaging, and buy/sell materials are available in-house to meet the production schedule and meet our customers' fill rate expectations. The individual in this role is accountable for achieving material planning KPIs, including targeted inventory levels, minimal obsolescence costs, and reduced expedited freight costs.Strong collaboration with scheduling, warehousing, inventory control, and production is critical to success. Work Setting & Travel Requirements: The position is hybrid with expectations to work on-site at the Louisville Manufacturing Facility 3 days per week. Candidates must reside in Louisville, KY, or the surrounding areas for consideration. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. What will you do as a Material Planner I at Dawn Foods?
