Job Title: HSE Trainer / Teacher

Location:Lockport, LA

Position Overview:The HSE Trainer is responsible for conducting HSE inspections, recognizing hazards, performing HSE meetings, and providing safety training/orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform HSE meetings to promote safety awareness and compliance.
• Perform safety training and orientation to employees.
• Conduct HSE inspections and recognize hazards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of six (6) months of working experience in the HSE field.
• Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing setting; shipyard experience is a plus.
• Teaching or training experience is a plus.
• Highly motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using MS Office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, etc.).
• Oracle experience is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize hazards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct effective HSE meetings and training sessions.
• Proficiency in using MS Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
