Technical Product Manager (IT) General Purpose of the Job The Product Manager should be an expert in healthcare software product management solutions. They will be responsible for product requirements for modules and our customers. The Product Manager must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; from initial idea through development, launch, ongoing operations and expansion of our product. This position requires close interaction with development, design, customers, and business stakeholders across the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages research and development activities relating to the design and development of software or hardware products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products.
- Manage the entire life cycle of modular product delivery, including: market and competitive analysis, requirements gathering, market validation, functional specification development, implementation review, outbound communications, sales support, and evangelism
- Works with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfillment of product requirements, evaluates product performance and transition products from development to commercialization.
- Assists in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
- Acts as a technical consultant to the product organization and leads research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.
- Ensures the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.
- Acts as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development and requirements.
- Responsible for product delivery and managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand long and short term business plan and where technology can be leveraged to drive better business results. Define product (application) strategy and roadmap.
- Develop business case, cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations. Define quantifiable metrics and help track value realized over time.
- Interact with business users to gather and document requirements, model current/future business processes and organizational changes to realize benefits.
- Work with project team to develop solutions that drive business results, maintain project plans, support QA and User Acceptance Testing.
- Work on teams for application development projects and production support of existing applications.
- Assist with system implementation, rollout, release documentation, training and communication, and production support.
- Coordinate post-release user surveys, collate responses/feedback and drive enhancements.
- Travel required: up to 25%
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in IT and/or Healthcare industry.
- 3-5 years as a Product Manager, Business Consultant or similar experience on application development projects.
- Strong experience in developing, launching, and managing software products. Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience creating business cases, cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations. * Strong business process analysis and data analysis skills. Thorough understanding of the Requirements Management process.
- Experienced in writing User Requirements, Use Cases, Functional specifications, User Documentation, Test Plans etc.
- Excellent time management, decision-making, problem solving, presentation, documentation, communication, planning and organization skills. * Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, PowerPoint, Visio, Share Point.
- Ability to lift minimum of 2 pounds to a maximum of 15 pounds unassisted; able to sit for extended periods of time with some standing, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, lifting; moderate range of body motions

The Salary Range for the role is $85,000.00 - $135,000.00/year.
If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour
Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
