PURPOSE

At BFS, the Product Content Coordinator works as a key component in ensuring our company's success. This detail-oriented individual extracts, analyzes, identifies, and enters data from data sources into company software and Excel utilizing data quality methodologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develops and implements data collection, analysis, and entry systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Verify and ensure the accuracy of all product content within applicable systems, including key data fields, attributes, product descriptions, graphics, images, and documents needed to support company Product Management strategies.
  • Responsible for entering data from various source documents, websites, and catalogs into company software.
  • Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filters and cleans data, and reviews computer outputs, reports, and other key data indicators to locate and correct various quality or incompleteness issues.
  • Works closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT or related field.
  • Proficient and experienced PC skills with Microsoft office, dual screens and toggling between multiple systems.
  • Be versatile and flexible. Ability to change gears and turn around simple tweaks, updates, and variations quickly.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent typing skills, time management skills, and ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of building materials strongly preferred.



PREFERRED SKILLS



  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC/ERP.
  • Familiarity with master data records, including Vendor & Material Masters.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, contracts, and sourcing strategies.
  • Experience with a PIM.
  • Exposure to Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies.

In addition to the base wage listed, team members are also eligible to earn an additional incentive subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law.
