Description of Work	The HVAC Maintenance Technician provides support for the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient facility operations. Perform basic maintenance and repair of boilers, chillers, and small HVAC equipment Repair or replace worn or damaged parts on HVAC units and related systems Work independently or collaboratively with a team of two or more staff members Provide quality customer service and maintain effective communication with campus stakeholders Follow safety protocols and demonstrate strong safety awareness at all times Participate in continuous learning to stay current with evolving HVAC and mechanical technologies Perform other related duties as assigned
Competencies/Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Required in this Position	Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and other mechanical trades Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine repairs Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to workplace safety and professional development
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
