Precise Systems seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our small team, who focuses on the integration of scientific software and algorithms into real-world, novel applications. Our product line is expanding and has centered on energy use modeling and optimization.

Duties:



  • Plan and develop and test new backend features
  • Maintain and improve the infrastructure for our cloud-based Kubernetes application
  • Improve and maintain existing CI/CD infrastructure.


Required Experience:



  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes deployment and administration
  • Experience with LinuxSoft administration and Docker containers.


Preferred Experience:



  • Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, PostGIS
  • Programming experience in Golang and Python


Required Education:



  • Bachelors degree in a STEM related discipline

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $103,428.48 - $155,142.11 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
