Prometheus Energetics LLC is currently seeking a Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) supporting the startup and ramp-up of Prometheus Energetics.

This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a fully integrated, logic-driven, master schedule that spans all work streams of starting up the company. The Project Scheduler will also facilitate risk and opportunity management activities and provide schedule and risk visibility to company leadership to enable informed decision-making.

Prometheus Energetics is a new U.S.-based joint venture between Kratos and Rafael, and will be a merchant supplier of solid rocket motors, energetics, and adjacent product areas for U.S. and international defense markets. The role works cross-functionally with all stakeholders to ensure workstreams are aligned to a single, integrated execution baseline and that risks are identified, tracked, and mitigated.

Responsibilities

Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS)



  • Develop, baseline, and maintain a fully integrated master schedule covering all program workstreams supporting the Prometheus Energetics startup.
  • Construct and manage schedules at multiple levels of detail ensuring schedule logic is complete, traceable, and aligned with best practices, including defined predecessors, successors, constraints, and milestones.
  • Integrate schedules from multiple internal teams and external partners (engineering, construction, supply chain, IT, HR, finance, compliance, and operations).
  • Maintain schedule integrity through regular updates, variance analysis, and baseline control.


  • Perform critical path and near-critical path analysis to identify schedule drivers and areas of risk.
  • Conduct schedule health assessments, including logic checks, float analysis, and status quality reviews.
  • Develop and present schedule performance metrics, trend analysis, and forecasted completion dates.
  • Prepare schedule review materials for leadership, including charts, dashboards, & executive-level summaries.
  • Facilitate recurring schedule review meetings and document actions, decisions, and follow-ups.


Risk & Opportunity Management Support



  • Support the establishment and execution of a formal risk and opportunity management process
  • Assist in maintaining a risk register, including identification, scoring, mitigation planning, and status tracking.
  • Support risk and opportunity scoring using a 5x5 likelihood and consequence matrix, with impacts assessed across safety, technical/quality, schedule, and cost.
  • Facilitate recurring risk review meetings with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ensure risks and opportunities are appropriately linked to schedule activities and milestones where applicable.


Stakeholder Coordination & Program Integration



  • Work collaboratively with Prometheus leadership, functional managers, parent company personnel, and external subcontractors to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for schedule data, assumptions, and dependencies across all workstreams.
  • Support program readiness reviews, customer briefings, and government or regulatory engagements as needed.

Required Experience:

Qualifications



  • Demonstrated experience developing & maintaining IMS's for complex, multi-disciplinary programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of scheduling best practices, including critical path method and schedule risk concepts.
  • Experience supporting large capital programs, facility construction, manufacturing startups, or defense/aerospace programs highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate schedules across multiple disciplines and functional areas.
  • Experience supporting program risk and opportunity management processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information in accordance with government and company requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work.


Education and Experience



  • Bacheloris degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project scheduling, program controls, or project management in a defense, aerospace, construction, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Primavera P6, or similar required.
  • Professional certifications (PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent) are a plus.

  • Ability to participate in on-site reviews and meetings across construction and operations areas
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as required


Travel Required



  • Occasional travel, including domestic and limited international travel, as required
