Description

Marking is seeking an expert level Business Process Consultant to serve as a senior technical compliance advisor for an IC customer. This role provides expert guidance on requirements, processes, and procedures for the secure handling, management, and storage of Customer sensitive information. The consultant ensures compliance with applicable information control systems, security protocols, and intelligence-level handling standards.



Responsibilities

    Provide expert technical guidance and advisory support to the Customer, other directorates, and external IC stakeholders regarding sensitive information compliance requirements.
  • Develop, evaluate, and recommend business processes and procedural improvements for handling, managing, and storing Customer sensitive materials.
  • Interpret and apply intelligence-level (INT-level) handling requirements to ensure secure information lifecycle management.
  • Support implementation and oversight of information control systems and secure IT/IT security practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-directorate teams to align technical compliance procedures with mission and operational needs.
  • Identify gaps in current compliance processes and recommend corrective actions or enhancements.
  • Assist in developing training materials, documentation, and guidance for secure information handling procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, IC, and organizational policies governing sensitive technical information.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI FSP
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical compliance, business process consulting, or a closely related role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Customer environments, sensitive technical programs, and Intelligence Community operational standards.
  • Strong expertise in IT systems, IT security, and secure information management frameworks.
  • Experience working with information control systems and compliance-driven process development.
  • Thorough understanding of INT-level handling requirements and secure storage/processing procedures.
  • Ability to advise senior leadership and stakeholders across multiple directorates and IC organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting the Customer or similar technical directorates within the Intelligence Community.
  • Background in process improvement methodologies, governance, or compliance auditing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable guidance.


Salary Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
