Job Description

Employees in Labor Grade 6 are required to support the FAB activities performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with minimal supervision.

Employees in Labor Grade 6 are required to support the FAB activities performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with minimal supervision.

  • Perform routine, periodic/special inspections and learn the repair and maintenance of many types of equipment including but not limited to the following:
    • Abatement Systems
    • Exhaust systems
    • Air Conditioning and Refrigeration System
    • House and Tool Vacuum Systems
    • Collection Systems
    • Ro/DI and ECW Systems
    • Electrical Systems
    • Monitoring and Control Systems
    • Building Infrastructure
    • Accountability
  • Perform general maintenance/construction assignments such as plumbing, and painting using a wide variety of hand, power and machine tools.
  • Complete and analyze inspection logs to identify possible equipment failures and take action to prevent failure.
  • Maintain good communication skills and complete daily Operator logs for shift pass down.
  • Assist higher labor grade personnel in the performance of major repair and overhaul
  • Follow FAB priorities based on Production needs and respond to emergencies
  • Maintain required tools for this Labor Grade classification within 30 working days after assignment
Job Requirements
  • Basic mechanical exposure and dexterity using hand and power tools. Maintenance and plumbing experience are a plus.
  • Required to learn reading blueprint and tools' manuals/schematics
  • Follow safety protocols
