The Role

Amphenol Military High Speed is seeking aSystems Engineerto work out of its new facility inEndicott, NY.

The key responsibilities of thisSystemsEngineerinclude, but are not limited to:



  • Develop, analyze, and manage system-level requirements, ensuring traceability from customer needs through design, implementation, and verification
  • Perform system architecture development, trade studies, and technical analyses to support design decisions
  • Interface with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, test, manufacturing, quality, and program management
  • Support system integration, verification, and validation activities, including test planning and results analysis
  • Identify technical risks and support mitigation planning and execution
  • Participate in technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.) and customer engagements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and contractual requirements
  • Support configuration management, change control, and technical documentation activities

Salary:$62,354 - $85,000

The Person

The key skills and qualities of aSystemsEngineerat Amphenol Military High Speed:



  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • 3-5 years of systems engineering or related technical experience
  • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama) preferred
  • Familiarity with system development lifecycle processes and verification methodologies
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to decompose complex problems into structured requirements and architectures
  • Clear written and verbal technical communication skills
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Attention to detail with an understanding of overall system impacts
  • Ability to balance technical rigor with schedule and cost constraints
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to access manufacturing or test environments as required
