The Role

Amphenol Military High Speed is seeking aMaterials Plannerto work out of its new facility inEndicott, NY.

The key responsibilities of thisMaterials Plannerinclude, but are not limited to:



  • Coordinates activities of planning, purchasing, and manufacturing to maximize the effective loading and scheduling of the business unit
  • Schedules, prioritizes, and follows contracts throughout the area and coordinates with supervision, process engineering, and quality to ensure that schedules are attained
  • Schedules, adjusts and maintains production schedule date for customer orders
  • Responsible for the integrity of front sheets, prints, and engineering changes on the floor
  • Converts PLOs to work orders to meet requirements
  • Processes rescheduling and cancellations on customer orders and work orders
  • Reviews schedules daily to assure top level revenue, delinquency and on-time delivery targets are met
  • Interfaces with appropriate department functions to achieve goals and objectives
  • Reviews excess inventory reports
  • Provides status on critical customer deliveries

The Person

The key skills and qualities of aMaterials Plannerat Amphenol Military High Speed:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field or high-school education plus 4-6 years related experience in Materials Department or equivalent education/work
  • Working knowledge of Data 3 preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Adept at both oral and written communications
  • Confidentiality
  • Being a team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required between operations and to customers (10 - 15%)
  • Some travel between Sidney and Endicott sites will be required
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
  • Continuously required to move about the facility.
