Job Description

The Enterprise Business Intelligence Analyst I is responsible for supporting reporting and analytics across BOKF. This position works with a team of analysts and business partners to deliver management insights and supports report development, automation, and standardization.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will develop a thorough understanding of the information needs of the supported business units through interviews with users, and reviewing existing reporting solutions/processes.
  • You will recommend improvements and support the corresponding development efforts to enhance existing and other legacy reporting with a focus on data visualization and automation.
  • You will support reporting automation, data integration, routine reporting, incentive and QC/QA processes, as well as initiatives to further standardize and centralize information across the team and supported business areas.
  • You will support the development of new reports and analysis efforts using Power BI and development tools. You will make large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable, and usable through consistent data visualization and report design.
  • You will research and communicate the latest advancements in Power BI and other data visualization tools for business application, while collaborating with other Power BI users to apply best practices and support continued reporting advancement across the team.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline and 1+ year of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of one year of direct experience with BI visualization tools and their implementation, ideally PowerBI or similar tools such as Tableau or Qlik
  • Basic SQL skills
  • Basic understanding of design principles and aesthetics of business dashboards, data visualization and reports
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and effectively communicate trends and insights
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage a large report repository and troubleshoot issues across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, work ethic and the ability to work well individually as well as in cross-functional project teams
  • Basic database understanding and data modelling is a plus
