Position Summary/ Department Summary:
A research assistant position is available to start by June 2026 within the laboratory of Dr. Peter Nigrovic, Chief of the Division of Immunology at Boston Children's Hospital. The individual will join a team studying adaptive and innate immune mechanisms of autoimmune diseases. We apply cutting-edge approaches in transcriptomics, immunology, molecular biology, and gene editing, and microscopy on human patient samples and mouse models of autoimmune diseases. The research assistant will conduct studies in tissue culture, microscopy, immunology, and molecular biology techniques, animal husbandry, and surgical procedures. The candidate may interact with patients and will participate actively in lab meetings, discussions, and presentations. A 2-year commitment is preferred. Training will be provided in all skills, rendering the position suitable for a self-motivated individual considering medical or graduate school. This role will also require: flexible working hours during weekdays AND weekends as needed. Key Responsibilities:

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
